A schoolteacher at Bankori village in Raisen was accused of molesting three minor girls, aged between five and nine years, on separate occasions.
The incidents came into light after officials from the education department went to the village on Saturday to record their statements.
However, till now, no complaint has been lodged against the accused.
According to sources, the minors used to study at the government primary school where the accused, Tulsiram Atthya, 44, was a teacher.
Atthya allegedly molested the three on different occasions in school in the last one month. He also threatened to kill them if they tried to inform their family members about the incident.
The three narrated the whole incident to their parents, who on September 29 submitted a written complaint against the accused to the principal of the school.
“The principal, Mahesh Sharma, took the matter seriously and informed the officials of the education department,” said a source.
