Actor Madhuri Dixit performed on her popular number Maye Ni Maye from the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun at the Zee Cine Awards on Tuesday.

Actor Madhuri Dixit recently gave her fans a pleasant surprise by performing on her popular 90s song Maye Ni Maye at the Zee Cine Awards on Tuesday. The actor presented the dance performance in order to celebrate 25 years one of her biggest blockbusters, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!

Dressed up in a similar yellow kurta-salwar complete with the mangtika and with her hair left open, Madhuri brought a major dose of nostalgia on stage by stepping into her onscreen avatar after more than two decades. The actor began her dance act by playing a guitar and went on to perform the same dance moves she aced in the original hit number.

The song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar with music by Raam Laxman. She had played Salman Khan’s love interest Nisha in the 1994 superhit film. It was made under the Rajshri Productions.

The actor had walked the red carpet in silk black gown in the evening. She had also shared a few pictures of her look on her Instagram handle.

Madhuri is currently being praised for her role in Kalank. The teaser of the film received a good response for its cinematography and grand sets.

She reportedly plays the role of a courtesan, Bahaar Begum in the film. She is also seen in the song Ghar More Pardesiya though Alia Bhatt is seen taking over from her in the dance number. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha.

Madhuri was last seen in multi-starrer comedy Total Dhamaal which has already crossed 150 crore at the domestic box office.
