Aamir to start shooting for his next in September
Next month onward, Aamir Khan will start shooting for his next in different parts of Punjab and Haryana.
His last release, PK (2014), set cash registers ringing at the box office. Now, after a considerably long break, Aamir Khan is set to get back on the sets. The actor will start shooting for his next (an alleged biopic on Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat) from September 1, in different parts of Punjab and Haryana.

An insider says, “Aamir took some time off to work on his look, and prepare for the role. He had to transform his body completely, in order to resemble the wrestler. The actor even had meetings with Phogat’s daughters, who flew to Mumbai recently.”
Apparently, the unit will first shoot at Kila Raipur, where the Rural Olympics take place each year. The insider adds, “It is a village in the Ludhiana district in Punjab, and is popular, as it hosts the annual Kila Raipur Sports Festival, which is also known as the Rural Olympics. Aamir has heard a lot about the place, and is very excited about shooting there. It is going to be a long schedule.”
