After IAF, Mausam in trouble with Indian Railways

Shahid-Sonam starrer Mausam is in trouble with the Indian Railways over a scene in which actor Shahid Kapoor zips past a railway crossing, seconds before a train arrives.

Sonam Kapoor-starrer Mausam is in trouble with the Indian Railways over a scene in which actor Shahid Kapoor zips past a railway crossing, seconds before a train arrives as it feels that it could encourage youngsters to engage in such dangerous actions.

“We’d like the makers to put in a word of caution clarifying that such action should not be indulged in,” said a railway ministry official.



"The scene apart, we are also concerned over the fact that it is enacted by actor Shahid Kapoor who is popular among the youths," he added.



Earlier, the Indian Air Force (IAF) had also objected to certain action scenes in the film, where the actor plays the role of a fighter pilot. The film's release was delayed by a week due to this (From September 16 to September 23).
