Aishwarya Rai is the queen of red carpets. These new pics are incontrovertible proof

Aishwarya Rai attended an awards nite on Thursday and again proved that nobody comes close to her in style stakes. Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan attended the event too.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was adjudged Miss World back in the 90s. Now, almost 20 years later, she is still one of the most beautiful women in the world. And now, she seems to be on a mission to conquer the red carpets. The actor who left her fans impressed with her Fanne Khan look walked the red carpet at the Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards 2018 on Thursday night and again proved that she stands alone in glam stakes.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Global Icon of The Year award on Thursday.

The actor is busy with Fanne Khan in which she plays a star. Her first look from the film was ultra-glam and reminded her fans of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The still was posted by the KriArj Entertainment on Twitter, along with a caption: “There are divas and then there is #AishwaryaRaiBachchan. Our shining star! #FanneKhan.”

The Atul Manjrekar-directed film, stars Aishwarya, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Fanne Khan would be Aishwarya’s third association with Anil Kapoor, after Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. The film is scheduled to release on June 15.

According to the buzz, the actor may be seen in a double role in the remake of Raat Aur Din. A film with husband Abhishek Bachchan is also in the discussion stage.

Others who were spotted at the awards included Rekha, Malaika Arora, Aditi Rao Hydari, Disha Patani, Adaah Sharma and Arjun Kapoor.

Aishwarya was awarded the Global Icon award at the event.
