Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor danced together at the Zee Cine Awards stage on Tuesday. Watch their video here.
Brahmastra co-stars and real life couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had a romantic evening at the Zee Cine Awards on Tuesday. They slow danced on stage and were also spotted leaving the venue hand in hand.
Videos from the event, shared on their social media fanpages, show them dancing to Alia’s hit song from Student of the Year, Ishq Wala Love. Ranbir takes off his jacket, rolls up his sleeves and asks for Alia’s hand for a dance. Next to them, Kartik Aaryan and Vicky Kaushal are seen laughing and copying Alia and Ranbir’s steps. At one point, Ranbir sweeps Alia off her feet for a twirl and Vicky does the same with Kartik.
More pictures from the event show Ranbir taking Alia’s hand and guiding her to their car. A video shows Ranbir telling a man to maintain distance when he got too close for a selfie.

Ranbir won the Best Actor award for playing Sanjay Dutt in Sanju. Alia lost the Best Actress award to Deepika Padukone. Deepika won her role as Rani Padmaavati for Padmaavat and Ranveer Singh won the Viewers choice award Best Actor in a Leading Role the for playing Alauddin Khilji in the movie. Alia was nominated for her role in Raazi.
Ranveer, Deepika, Ranbir and Alia were all seated together. When Ranveer won the award, he gave wife Deepika a kiss and hugged Ranbir and Alia. Alia and Deepika also posed together on the red carpet.
Ranveer and Deepika, too, entertained the audience by reacting their seven pheras on the stage. Ranveer held on to the train of Deepika’s dress and took the revolutions around Vicky while Kartik played the priest.
Alia and Ranveer recently worked together in Gully Boy and their performances were lauded by critics and audiences. She will next be seen with Varun Dhawan in Kalank and then in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Ranbir.
