A reality TV star, a VJ, a singer and an actor, Chandigarh-boy Ayushmann Khurrana has donned many hats. As the Vicky Donor actor turns 32 on Wednesday, he reveals that he does not like to celebrate his birthdays in a big way.

“I am more of a dining guy, or I may go for a drive, or watch a play or a movie. I am a chilling-on-the-terrace-in-pyjama type of a person even on my birthday.”

Recounting the craziest ever birthday memory, the actor says it was five years ago while he was taking workshops in Delhi for his debut film Vicky Donor (2012). “My brother and his wife organised a party for my birthday. At that time, I was not a part of industry, so all my theatre and radio friends were invited and we were taken by surprise to see a red carpet rolled outside a house in Delhi. And there was a proper baaraat band playing happy birthday songs. That was something really crazy. ”

On his birthday this year, Ayushmann is set to release his third single titled, Ek Vaari Haan Kehde. “This song is very special for me, firstly because it’s the first time I have collaborated with my brother Aparshakti who has composed and written the song with me, and because the song is partly in Punjabi and partly in Hindi, which makes it exciting,” he says.
