Rohit needs a couple of weeks from Deepika to wrap up her part. “Now that Chennai Express is scheduled to be out on Eid, it has to be completed within a certain time frame,” says a trade source.

Apparently, the catch is that Deepika has committed the same set of dates to Bhansali. “The main problem is that Deepika’s dates have been combined with Ranveer Singh’s so, it’s going to be difficult for her to pull out days from Ram Leela,” adds the source.

Deepika is shooting for Chennai Express with SRK in Wai and works on Ram Leela once back from there. While Deepika remained unavailable for a comment, her spokesperson says, “Deepika has dates available for all our films and endorsements. Her dates are managed by professional people who know their job.”
