“I think every industry, including films, is getting a place in the world market. I am so glad that this kind of exchange is happening now because ultimately Bollywood and Hollywood are doing similar work, entertaining people and making films,” says Chopra.

“I am so happy that the level of filmmaking is going up in Bollywood and people are getting a lot of recognition in other film industries as well. It is a matter of pride for everyone,” says Parineeti.

The actor will be playing a classical singer in her new film with Ayushmann Khurrana, and has crooned for the first time in her career. Asked if she plans to make a solo career as a singer, she says, “I am passionate about singing but I will only be able to decide that after seeing the response I get from this film.”
