Kangana was recently approached by director Edoardo De Angelis to play the lead role in an Italian film opposite Massimiliano Gallo. Although excited at the prospect, she is yet to decide on whether she will accept the offer.

After signing a

opposite Irrfan Khan, now Italy is on the radar for Kangana Ranaut.

According to a source close to the actor, she was recently approached by director Edoardo De Angelis to play the lead role in an Italian film opposite Massimiliano Gallo. Although excited at the prospect, she is yet to decide on whether she will accept the offer.

The source adds that Kangana will begin Nikhil Advani’s film in September, followed by the Tanu Weds Manu (2011) sequel and the film with Irrfan. Thus, she is unable to decide whether she should take up this film.

"She’s sceptical about taking the signing amount for the Italian film because she isn’t sure she can start working on it at least till 2015-end," says the source.

When contacted, Kangana said she considered it unethical to reveal the name of the film, but she confirms the development, saying, "I was offered the lead role opposite Massimiliano. I am still contemplating it because I have almost six projects lined up, and that has me booked till the beginning of 2016."

The actor is overwhelmed by the interest that European film-makers are showing in her. "It feels nice that after

(she is shown travelling across the continent in the film), people, such as the producers of my film with Irrfan, are offering projects to me. I think the European market has opened up for me," she says.
