Kangna loves her scars

Actor Kangna Ranaut refuses to get her scars removed after injuring herself in an accident.

Women, generally hate blemishes or scars on their body and try to get rid of them through various treatments available.

But actor Kangna Ranaut has a different view point. On the sets of Tanu Weds Manu, Kangna had to ride a 600cc bullet bike in the narrow lanes of Kanpur. Unfortunately, Kangna met with a serious accident during the shooting of that scene and injured her left foot severely. The wound was so bad that the shooting was called off for a couple of weeks.

Kangna resumed the shooting once the wound healed but the scar of the wound is still prominent on the actors’ foot. Apparently, the director and the producers of the film volunteered to sponsor for a plastic surgery but Kangna turned down the offer. The 23-year-old actor is of the opinion that the scars are a form of memory and she wants to preserve them as she loves collecting these memories.

She has scars on her lip and nose as well but hasn’t tried to rectify them and has decided not to change her rule this time as well. Kangna says, “Each scar on my body is a memory, cleaning them off means wiping off those memories for ever. That disturbs me and I am not keen to erase any of the memories from my life. I love scars and I’ll preserve them.”
