Karan Johar blocks 2016's big weekends

On Tuesday (July 22), he tweeted about his newest film to be produced by him. “AYAN MUKERJI’s next for Dharma productions is slated to begin mid next year and release December 23rd, 2016. RANBIR KAPOOR and ALIA BHATT (sic),” wrote Karan.

A few days ago, the film-maker had revealed on Twitter the release date of his ambitious venture that will be directed by Karan Malhotra. “#SHHUDDHI will star SALMAN KHAN and will release Diwali 2016.....@shhuddhimovie (sic),” he had tweeted.

This year, Shah Rukh will be starring in Farah Khan’s directorial next, which will be releasing around Diwali. Aamir will see the release of his next (directed by Rajkumar Hirani) around the Christmas weekend.
