The videos and images feature her "nude scenes" and "lesbian kissing scenes" from Preeti Gupta's film Unfreedom, which has been banned in India for its sexual content. Screenshots of the nude and kissing scenes have gone viral after being leaked, the reports claimed.
The film is a lesbian love story, reportedly based on Faiz Ahmad Faiz's poem, Ye Dagh Dagh Ujala. Unfreedom has been described as a contemporary thriller based in New York and New Delhi that juxtaposes two stories about intolerance - one focusses on a terrorist trying to silence a liberal Muslim scholar and another on a young woman who escapes an arranged marriage because she is in a lesbian romance.

The release of
was stopped by the Censor Board on the ground that it will ignite "unnatural passions". The board reportedly also had a problem with the film depicting a liberal Muslim girl being kidnapped by terrorists.
Unfreedom, made by US-based Raj Amit Kumar, a first time director, was released in the US in May.
Preeti was earlier seen in the TV soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki where she played the ideal daughter of Parvati (Sakshi Tanwar).
Earlier this year, leaked images of
from her short film for Anurag Kashyap had gone viral online and on WhatsApp.
