Sonam, Parineeti and Varun on what they need for Christmas

At the shoot, we couldn’t help but notice the natural bond that the three seemed to share.

Christmas brings to mind fun, revelry, togetherness and bonding. And that’s exactly what we witnessed when Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan came together for our Christmas special shoot. It wasn’t an easy task to get hold of the three together, but once we managed it, the hard work was worth it.

At the shoot, we couldn’t help but notice the natural bond that the three seemed to share. The first thing we got to know was that Parineeti’s new look (post weight loss) has earned her fans among her peers too. Also, it was interesting to know that Sonam calls Varun, ‘VD’ (they have known each other since childhood), while the latter considers her a style icon.

“Sonam, you are the fashionista, you should suggest some stylish poses to us,” Varun told her at one point. “I think we all should be just natural,” was Sonam’s suggestion. We had a fun chat with the three about all things Christmas.

What is Christmas for you?

Varun: Christmas means holiday; and it stands for the time when the entire family is together.

Sonam: It’s my dad’s birthday! So it calls for celebration. We have always had a Christmas tree, Christmas gifts and lots of positivity. We have always had a family lunch. Earlier, my mother would take us to church.

Parineeti: I remember attending Christmas mass in school. Today, it is a cool holiday which you spend with your friends and go out for a lunch and enjoy the day.

Special plans this year?

Varun: This year, I will be travelling. But I will be with my friends.

Sonam: We rung in dad’s birthday with his friends. We went out for a dinner with his as well as my friends.

Parineeti: I am not working, so I will make some plan for a lunch or a dinner and ring in the festive season.
