Ramayana actor Mahika Sharma set for Bollywood debut with British adult film star Danny D

The Modern Culture will mark Bollywood debut for both Danny D and Mahika Sharma.

TV actor Mahika Sharma, who has worked in TV shows like FIR and Ramayana, is all set for her Bollywood debut alongside British adult film actor Danny D. Both Danny and Mahika are also the producers of the film, The Modern Culture.

A former Miss Teen North-East, Mahika said in a press statement , “I will play Geeta. The first part of movie will be about how Geeta - a typical Indian girl - struggles in Los Angeles. Once she is back in India with her man, it is Danny’s character who will struggle.”

“The modern culture is a movie based upon the mentality of people today. Like today we say we are modern but we still judge people in terms of clothes, the way they communicate and even on gender at times. I’m playing the role of a typically Indian girl ‘who goes in search of her husband living in LA and acts to be modern,” she further said.

“Mahika is a friend. I’m happy to debut in Indian entertainment industry with her. We are working together on a project called ‘The Modern culture’. It a Hindi film based on the mentality of people. They want to be modern, but they struggle. They act to be one, but they fail to be one. The movie will be a romantic drama, shot in Los Angeles and Indian cities,” Danny added.
