Ranveer Singh allowed to step out of his house for Dil Dhadakne Do trailer launch

Ranveer Singh, who is on bed rest post his surgery, has been allowed to visit Ritesh Sidhwani’s house for the trailer launch of his next.

Following a shoulder surgery on April 4, doctors had strictly advised Ranveer Singh to take rest and stay at home.

However, the actor has been granted permission to step out for a couple of hours on Wednesday (April 15) for the trailer launch of his next. A source close to Ranveer says, “He has been advised bed rest till next month. In the first week of May, Ranveer resumes shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. But he has taken special permission from his doctor to go to producer Ritesh Sidhwani’s house, on Saturday (April 15), for the trailer launch of their film, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Since all the cast members will be present at Ritesh’s home, Ranveer wants to be there.”

Over the last few days, Ranveer has stepped out only to visit the doctor. “Ranveer has been allowed to go to Ritesh’s house as he lives nearby. He’s healing fast, and hence, the doctor didn’t hesitate much to let him step out for a while,” adds the source.

When contacted, Ranveer’s spokesperson confirmed the news.
