Here we list five such biopics that will be remembered for their content and presentation.

India’s limited over cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the subject of this week’s big release MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. After Azhar, which was based on former India captain, Md. Azharuddin, this is the second cricket-based biopic of the year, and certainly not the last one. A film on Sachin Tendulkar is also going to hit theatres later in 2016.

Bollywood has produced some really intriguing biopics.

However, apart from Aamir Khan’s Lagaan, none of the cricket based films have left any impression on the audiences. But, that doesn’t mean Bollywood lacks the depth required to make a good biopic.
