He is known to mentor youngsters (like Katrina Kaif and Arjun Kapoor among others) in Bollywood. And now, it looks like Salman Khan has taken yet another actor under his wing — Pulkit Samrat (who is engaged to Shweta Rohira, Salman’s rakhi-sister).

Pulkit has already been roped in to play the lead in Atul Agnihotri’s political thriller, O Teri. And now, news is that Salman has signed on the Delhi lad for his next, Mental, which is being directed by his brother Sohail.

“Salman has been impressed with Pulkit since he did Bittoo Boss, and now with Fukrey too. So when a role came up that suited him, he wanted to him to be a part of Mental. As far as we know, Pulkit has already shot for the film with Salman in Hyderabad,” says an industry insider.

For the past several days, Salman has been stationed in Hyderabad to wrap up Mental. Salman had even tweeted a week ago: "Fukrey Going to see it vil pulkit one of these days wen he is shooting vit me heard its amazing he is supposed to be fantastic in it (sic).”

Meanwhile, the shooting of O Teri where Pulkit will be seen opposite Sarah Jane Dias is almost over. Only Salman needs to shoot a song and a few scenes for the film.
