South actor Sudeep joined Salman Khan on the sets of Dabangg 3 and shared a picture from the first day of the shoot.

Actor Salman Khan is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Bharat and shooting for his next, Dabangg 3. The actor has now been joined by south actor Sudeep on the sets of the Dabangg sequel.

Sharing about his experience on the first day of the shoot, Sudeep took to Twitter to share a picture with Salman along with the caption, “Heat was unbearable yet couldn’t dominate the energy on set,,,, it was a thrilling day,, fabulous unit,, fantabulous people,,,,, a humongous Gym set up on Location is an added bonus. 1st day of #Dabangg3 wrappes wth smiles. Thanks @BeingSalmanKhan sir for making me feel at home.”

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Sudeep will shoot a major action sequence with Salman in Dahisar, Mumbai. He plays the antagonist in the film that stars Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead. Actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami is also expected to make her Bollywood debut with the film.

Dabangg 3 is the big Christmas release of this year and will hit theatres on December 20. It was earlier expected to clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra, which has now been postponed to 2020. Directed by Prabhu Dheva, the film will also mark the return of Arbaaz Khan as Makhanchand Pandey (Makkhi ). Arbaaz had directed Dabangg 2 while the original was directed by Abhinav Kashyap.

Salman wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Several pictures of the shoot at Ahilya Fort were shared online. Salman’s look in the film is also out and shows him sporting his trademark hairline moustache and dressed in crisp formals as he returns to play one of his most popular characters, Chulbul Panday.
