Suneil Anand to direct English film
Dev Anand’s son will also star in the movie alongside international actors.
Late actor-filmmaker Dev Anand’s son Suneil is set to wield the megaphone again, 12 years after his not-so-memorable directorial debut, Master (2001). The new project is an English film titled Vagator Mixer. Suneil, who has also acted in a couple of films, is going to star in this film as well. “It’s a purely English film, which I am directing and also acting in,” says Suneil.

Refraining from revealing much about the film, Suneil tells us that it will be a thriller. He says, “It’s my concept, but I had to get international writers on board for the script and screenplay. It’s a dream project for me.”
Suneil, who has previously acted in films like Anand Aur Anand (1984) and Car Thief (1986), is playing the lead role in this film. “The cast will include some international actors. I am on the verge of signing them, so I can’t disclose their names till I do,” he says.
The film will go on the floors by the end of the year. Around 80 per cent of it will be shot in India, while the rest will be filmed abroad.
