Heavily armed militants stormed the headquarters in the wee hours of September 18, killing 17 jawans and injuring 19 other personnel in the terror strike in which four ultras were neutralised.
The Sholay writer tweeted, “Beg your pardon Mr Sharif, If people those who gave you your name knew what your characteristics would be, they would have named you Be-Nawaz Sharir (sic). A big blunder has been committed. It’s your own admission that no one listens to you in Pakistan be it your army, your parliament or your people. Wonder if your respected family listens to you? Ironic then that you are going around the world complaining about India. Is anyone listening??” Khan posted.
Many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Randeep Hooda, Riteish Deshmukh and Madhur Bhandarkar have condemned the attack.
