Director Neeraj Pathak’s film, Bhaiyyaji Superhit, went on hold a few months ago when it overshot its budget. Now, the film with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead is finally set to resume shooting on Tuesday. However, the big change is that Tusshar Kapoor, who was meant to play a pivotal role in the project, has now been replaced by Shreyas Talpade.

The change in cast was prompted by the fact that Tusshar is presently tied up with other projects: “He had other commitments and date issues, because of which he decided to leave and Shreyas was signed on for the role instead,” confirms producer Fauzia Arshi of Daily Multimedia Ltd, the company producing the film along with Metro Movies.

The movie has also undergone a number of changes in the script so that it now fits the planned budget.

“Some parts of the script were redundant and were adding to the budget. For instance, some sequences that were to be shot abroad could be done here and at a lesser cost. So we sat together and resolved all these issues. Now, we are ready to get back to shooting the film,” says Arshi.
