"We have registered a case with the Mumbai police in April and the case is currently under investigation," Bharat Business Channel Limited (BBCL) Chief Executive Officer Anil Khera said.

BBCL is the Direct-To-Home business arm of Videocon.

The company also requested the police to block the fake websites (www.d2hvideocon.com, www.d2hadvertising.com and www.videocond2hdish.com), Khera said.

BBCL's official website, 'www.videocond2h.com', is used for communicating with customers with regard to the company's DTH services.
