Honda Shine 125 Limited Edition unveiled, will launch soon
Honda unveils the Shine 125 Limited Edition, expected to be priced slightly higher than the standard model, featuring visual upgrades and a striking new colour.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has quietly unveiled the Shine 125 Limited Edition, a special version of its popular commuter motorcycle that is expected to launch soon in the Indian market. This new model builds on the existing Shine 125 Disc variant with a number of visual and feature upgrades designed to appeal to buyers looking for something a bit more distinctive in the competitive 125cc segment.

The standout feature of the Shine 125 Limited Edition is its refreshed look. It comes in a striking Pearl Siren Blue colour with dark blue body panels and prominent Shine graphics on the fuel tank that are unique to this edition. Complementing the paint scheme are brown finished alloy wheels, giving the bike a more premium appearance compared with the standard Disc model. These design updates extend to the front visor, side cover, and rear cowl, making the Limited Edition visually stand apart.

Under the skin, the Limited Edition remains mechanically the same as the Shine 125 Disc. It uses a 123.94 cc, BS6-compliant, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces around 10.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This unit, known for its smooth delivery and fuel efficiency, is paired with a five-speed gearbox and provides familiar performance characteristics that riders of the Shine have come to trust. The bike has a kerb weight of about 113 kg, a seat height of 791 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litres, striking a balance between comfort and practicality for daily commuting.
In terms of dimensions, the Shine 125 Limited Edition measures 2,046 mm in length, 741 mm in width, and 1,116 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,285 mm and a ground clearance of 162 mm, making it stable and easy to manoeuvre in urban traffic conditions. The chassis is suspended by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, providing a compliant ride quality over varied road surfaces.
Honda has not yet announced the exact price, but the Limited Edition is expected to carry a small premium over the standard Shine 125 Disc which sells for ₹85,211 ex-showroom. It is expected that the Limited Edition will be priced around ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 higher.
