217 entry-level seats for EWS children in private schools vacant

For instance, 35 seats for Class 1 at St Stephen’s School and 22 seats in the nursery section at Manav Mangal School, Sector 21 are vacant. Likewise, 15 nursery seats at Shishu Niketan Model School, Sector 28, 16 pre-nursery seats at Ankur Public School, Sector 14; 13 nursery seats at Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22; and 12 seats at Kulwant Rai Sarhitkari Vidya Mandir, Sector 43, are yet to be filled.

Many schools have single digit seats available. DAV-8 has four nursery seats, while there are five pre-nursery seats at Banyan Tree School, nine pre-nursery seats at MDAV School, Sector-22, eight at the pre-nursery section of Aanchal Public School, Sector 41, and six in pre-nursery section at Kundan International School, Sector 46.
