Defacements cleared
The municipal corporation (MC) on Wednesday conducted an anti-defacement drive in various sectors of the city, including Sectors 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15.

The municipal corporation (MC) on Wednesday conducted an anti-defacement drive in various sectors of the city, including Sectors 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15.
Sarita Malik, joint commissioner, MC, supervised the team carrying out the drive. The team of inspectors from MC’s enforcement wing removed posters from walls of shops and electricity poles.
“Strict action would be taken against the defaulters and notices will be served on Thursday,” she said.
