Haryana govt promotes 16 IAS officers

The Haryana government has promoted 16 IAS officers, including three in super-time scale, five in joint secretary grade and eight in junior administrative grade with effect from January 1, 2012.

The Haryana government has promoted 16 IAS officers, including three in super-time scale, five in joint secretary grade and eight in junior administrative grade with effect from January 1, 2012.

An official release said on Monday that the officers promoted in super-time scale were YS Khyalia, Neelam P Kasni and Shyamal Misra. Those promoted as joint secretaries were Panchkula deputy commissioner Ashima Brar, Rewari DC CG Rajini Kaanthan, Gurgaon DC Phool Chand Meena, general administration joint secretary A Sreenivas and Ambala DC Shekhar Vidyarthi.

Those promoted in the junior administrative grade were Hisar DC Amit Kumar Agarwal, Jhajjar DC Ajit Balaji Joshi, housing board chief administrator RS Kharb, Mewat DC WS Goyat, revenue joint secretary and Haryana seeds development corporation MD Vikas Yadav, Faridabad DC Balraj Singh, Yamunanagar DC and MC commissioner Ashok Sangwan and Haryana Public Service Commission secretary IC Sangwan.

The government has also posted Amneet P Kumar, executive director, Haryana institute of public administration, Gurgaon, as joint secretary, secretariat establishment and monitoring and coordination departments relieving A Sreenivas of the said charge, the release added.
