Hawara, Bheora given VIP treatment in jail: Prosecution

These allegations were made by public prosecutor JP Singh while submitting final arguments in the ongoing Burail jail break case hearing, in which apart from Hawara and Bheroa, jail officials are also facing trial.

In the arguments, the prosecution submitted that accused Hawara, Bheora and Tara were given "VIP treatment" by the jail officials.
The prosecution alleged that the accused were supplied electronic gadgets, including TV, radio, stereo, extension wire measuring 5m, and weightlifting equipment.

The prosecution also pointed out that to cover up the noise of drilling, the accused used to increase the volume of TV and used dumb-bells and iron rods during jail break. The case would now come up for hearing on August 4.
