HP adjudged best state in convention of community leaders
Himachal Pradesh has been adjudged the best state for overall presentation in different sectors in the third national convention for community leaders held at Kolkata.

Himachal Pradesh has been adjudged the best state for overall presentation in different sectors in the third national convention for community leaders held at Kolkata.
In the convention held under Sustainable Action and Network through Community Leaders Programme (SANCALP), more than 100 community leaders from different states exhibited their achievements in the sectors of natural resource management , agriculture, health and allied areas.
A team of nine community leaders from HP attended the convention, out of which three made their presentations.
Varsha Katoch, a folk singer of Himachal, was awarded for her significant contribution in the field of cultural activities.
