The accused has been identified as Ashish of Radha Vihar Colony, Bhamian Kalan.

The 20-year-old victim is a resident of Ram Nagar, Bhamian Kalan, and pursuing a course in computer applications.

She stated in her complaint that Ashish’s aunt lives in the same colony as her and they met six month ago.

She said that on August 29, the accused asked her to come to his aunt’s house. But, when she got there, Ashish was alone and told her that his aunt and mother had gone to Uttar Pradesh.

Then, he established physical relations with her on the pretext of marriage. In October, Ashish took her to his home and raped her again.

The woman alleged that he made excuses every time she asked him to solemnise the marriage. She added that on Sunday, the accused refused to marry her, following which she lodged an FIR.

ASI Sukhwinder Singh, who is investigating the case, said that a case has been registered against Ashish under Section 376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code. A hunt is on for his arrest.
