The local police booked a man for allegedly molesting a city-based doctor and her friend at Sector 29 here on Sunday.

The local police booked a man for allegedly molesting a city-based doctor and her friend at Sector 29 here on Sunday.
Accused identified as Maninder Singh works at a welding shop with his father.
According to sources, the incident took place when the accused who was on his motorcycle rammed into the complainant’s car who was returning back home accompanied by a friend. Soon after the collision, both the parties entered into a heated argument.
In her complaint to the police, the victim said Maninder molested her and passed lewd comments on her and her friend.
A case under Section 354 A ( assaulting a woman to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Industrial Area police station.
