Additional district and sessions judge Roopam Singh on Thursday awarded two-year jail to a man hailing from Jharkhand
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on convict Madhu Mehato, arrested by NCB on August 27, 2012. The NCB team had recovered 300g of opium from his possession.
Madhu was arrested from a Haryana roadway bus near Tribune Chowk when he was on his way to the city from Jharkhand.
