According to the police, the woman, identified as Meenakshi, was signalled down by cops at the Aroma crossing after she took a wrong turn. But instead of halting, she sped and almost hit a woman traffic cop.

Meenakshi, driving a car bearing Himachal Pradesh registration number, then had an argument with traffic cops after being stopped at a distance from the crossing.

The police have impounded her car and challaned her for five offences, including taking a wrong right turn, driving without valid license and registration certificate, misbehaving and rash driving in the presence of a police official on duty. She even refused to give out basic information including her address and name.

Despite repeated attempts, Meenakshi could not be reached for comment.
