Punjab makes mandatory for employees to provide property details annually

Punjab government has made it mandatory for government employees to submit information regarding their movable properties in annual property returns.

A spokesman of the general administration department (GAD) said the category A and B employees would have to file annual property returns from 1st April to 31 May, 2015.

He said in case of joint family the employees would have to mention his/her share of movable property in the return. The GAD has asked to all heads of departments to send the requisite information to establishment-2 branch at Punjab Civil Secretariat till May 31 in this regard.
