Sweeper booked for sexual offence against child
A sweeper, 35-year-old Dharamveer, was booked for offensive sexual behaviour towards a six-year-old boy in Sector 22 on Saturday. Police said the sweeper, a resident of Sector 25, was standing nearby when he saw the boy playing near a milk booth.

A sweeper, 35-year-old Dharamveer, was booked for offensive sexual behaviour towards a six-year-old boy in Sector 22 on Saturday. Police said the sweeper, a resident of Sector 25, was standing nearby when he saw the boy playing near a milk booth.
He started making offensive sexual gestures towards the child and was spotted by the boy's grandfather. The police were informed and a case registered under the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act in Sector 17. Dharamveer was thrashed by the public before he was arrested.
