Youth held for raping 6-yr-old niece

The Kharar police on Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old migrant labourer for raping his six-year-old niece at Aman City here. Police said the girl lived with her parents in sheds at the housing project.

Police said the girl lived with her parents in sheds at the housing project. On Tuesday night, accused Jatinder Chaudhary, a native of Bihar working as labourer at the project, was in an inebriated condition and picked up the girl when she had gone to a bathroom. He took her into his shed and raped her, leaving her unconscious. Then, he even took her to the civil hospital, where he allegedly admitted to his guilt before doctors and fled.

Station house officer (SHO), city, Vijay Kumar said, "We have arrested the accused from Kharar bus stand today (Wednesday) morning. The case has been registered on the complaint by the victim's father, who is also a native of Bihar. We will produce the accused in court on Thursday."
