Yuvraj Singh's father recovering after cancer scare
Former India fast bowler Yograj Singh, father of India player Yuvraj Singh, is undergoing treatment for cancer in vocal chords in the USA.

Former India fast bowler Yograj Singh, father of India player Yuvraj Singh, is undergoing treatment for cancer in vocal chords in the USA.
The 56-year-old was diagnosed few months back and underwent a successful surgery in New York Hospital according to media reports.
In 2011, Yuvraj Singh was also diagnosed with rare germ cell cancer and underwent a successful rehab in the USA. According to reports, Yograj underwent a surgery for the removal of tumor on the suggestions of the doctors and doesn’t need chemotherapy.
He is currently recuperating and is being kept under observation.
The former pacer is contemporary of legendary pacer Kapil Dev and played one Test and six ODI’s for India.
