The accident took place late on Sunday. The police said that the victims attending a national integration camp in Una were on a day-long trip to McLeodganj. While returning, the bus driver lost control and the vehicle rammed into a private bus from the rear, the police said.

Dharamshala police station in-charge Surender Thakur said the injured were indentified as Kamna (19), Vishakha (20), Anchal (18), and Ayushi (15), besides teachers Lalita (52) and Ramesh Kumar (38). They were discharged after being first-aid at Dharamshala hospital. Bus driver has been booked for rash and negligent driving and further investigations are on.

Gas tanker turns turtle in Samba

Jammu Amid a dense fog cover, a gas tanker skidded off the road on Monday and turned turtle on Jammu-Pathankot Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba, leading to suspension of traffic movement. Officials said there was a minor leakage of gas, but no one was injured. Police and fire services personnel rushed to the spot. Officials said traffic movement on one way has been suspended.
