A 10-day “prashikshan shivir” (training camp) for district presidents of Haryana and Uttarakhand was kicked-off at Kurukshetra on Tuesday.
Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge visit and address the participants at the camp, but their schedule is yet to be released. (File)

Party leaders said that experts from the AICC and state leadership will train the district presidents to strengthen the party’s leadership.
On the first day, state-incharge BK Hariprasad, state president Rao Narender Singh and party MPs Kumari Selja and Deepender Hooda addressed the gathering. Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will address the participants at the camp, but their schedule is yet to be released.
