Punjab employment generation, skill development and training minister Aman Arora congratulated the newly commissioned officer, describing her achievement as an inspiration for young women across Punjab aspiring to join the defence services. He said the state government was committed to supporting girls who wished to pursue careers as commissioned officers in the armed forces.

The minister also highlighted that the Punjab government had established an NDA preparatory wing for girls at Mai Bhago AFPI in July 2023 to provide specialised training to aspiring candidates. The institute is currently training its third batch under the programme.
