Delhi Fire Services (DFS) chief Atul Garg said the fire control room received the alert around 4pm.
“We immediately rushed 12 fire tenders to douse the flames and it took us about half an hour. The fire was in a tin sheet godown, spread in a 300 square yard area, storing decorative items and colour spray cans. The fire was controlled and the cooling operation continued till late evening,” said Garg.
