Uttar Pradesh reported 348 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 73 fewer than Sunday when 421 new cases were detected in the state.
In all, 189 patients recovered in the past 24 hours and till now a total 20,73,175 patients have defeated the infection in the state. The number of active cases in the state now is 2,925.
In Lucknow, 91 more people tested positive, including 62 men and 29 women. Alambagh reported 19 new cases, Sarojininagar 10, Aliganj 8, Indira Nagar 7, Tudiyaganj 5 and Chinhat 3.
“The state tested 62,298 samples in the past 24 hours and a total 11,91,57,899 samples have been tested till now,” said Amit Mohan Prasad, additional chief secretary, medical and health in a press statement.
The state has administered a total 34,62,00,341 doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine till now.
