Will meet Amit Shah if Ajit doesn’t resign: Damania

Mumbai: Social activist Anjali Damania on Wednesday said that deputy chief minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Ajit Pawar must resign immediately in light of the controversial land deal in Pune involving his son Parth Pawar.

“If Ajit Pawar does not resign immediately, I will meet union home minister Amit Shah to seek action against him,” Damania told reporters.

She alleged that Parth Pawar was involved in the land deal through his company Amadea and action should be taken against him as well.

Responding to her comments, Ajit Pawar said a probe was underway into the land deal and he did not want to speak on the same.
