The accused was identified as Kanchan Salvi from Beed district. According to officials, Salvi was detained for questioning and later arrested after investigators found evidence linking him to the alleged murder plot. His arrest follows that of Dada Garad and Amol Khune, who were earlier taken into custody in the case.
Police sources said that investigations are now focused on establishing possible links between Salvi and the other two accused. Preliminary findings suggest that the trio may have been in contact before the alleged conspiracy came to light.
The controversy began after Jarange Patil publicly claimed that Salvi was closely associated with MLA Dhananjay Munde, alleging he worked as the legislator’s personal aide. However, Munde has categorically denied any involvement, stating that he is even willing to undergo a narco test to prove his innocence.
Police have launched an investigation to trace the relationship and communication between Salvi, Garad, and Khune, as part of efforts to uncover the full extent of the alleged conspiracy.
