The complainant, Bhairavnath Narayan Godse (37) of Mahalunge, lodged a police complaint. The police said the trust building is located in Baner. In 2016, Pradnya Nutan Education Society had decided to redevelop its two properties based in Solapur. Accused trustees misused their designation and issued the work order of ₹3.55 crore to Innovative Construction Private Limited and made payment of ₹2.19 crore against the work order.
No arrests have been made in the case yet. The cops are waiting to record a detailed statement of everyone involved in the case. The case has been registered under Section of 406 (any person who commits criminal breach of trust shall be punished with an imprisonment) and 420 (cheating and there by dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of IPC. Further investigation is on.
