A lucky escape for Sundar. This is pushed through, on middle and leg from around the wicket. Not all that short but Sundar goes deep in the crease in an attempt to shovel it behind square leg. It keeps low to go under the blade and catches him on the front pad. It dribbles on the turf and the ball gets deflected off Sundar's front leg onto the stumps but the bails don't fall. There is half a shout for LBW but it is turned down by the umpire. Harry Brook sends it upstairs. No bat involved and the Ball Tracking has the ball pitching outside the line of the leg stump. Shreyas Iyer responds, but he does not anticipate the throw coming at his end. He is caught ball-watching and also takes the long route around to avoid being hit by the ball. Harry Brook is quick to pick up the ball and scores a direct hit at the batter's end. Iyer is a bit late to slide his bat inside, and the replay confirms that he is short of his crease. Well, the English players were already celebrating even before it went upstairs.
