SIX! BOOM! There is a touch of swagger about this one from Dewald Brevis. Fuller and right in the slot on middle, he clears the front leg and unleashes a mighty swing, launching it high and deep over the sightscreen. He doesn't even bother turning to admire it. That's gone a long way!

Slips in the yorker at the toes. Jordan jams it out down the pitch.

Drags the length back a bit, on off. Hermann taps it to cover.

Even fuller now, on off, Jordan pushes it to cover.

Tossed up, on off. Dewald drives it square towards deep point for a single to get off the mark.

OUT! LBW! Success at last for Namibia and it is the skipper who has provided the breakthrough. This is speared in from around the wicket by Erasmus, very full, around the line of the off pole. Tony pre-empts the reverse sweep but the ball is too full for the shot and it sneaks under the blade to hit him on the crouched back thigh. A prolonged appeal is followed by a long, hard look by the umpire before the finger is raised. End of a 190-run stand.

Short and around off. Tony hops back for the cut but misses.

SIX! Clean as a whistle. Trumpelmann goes searching for the yorker but ends up serving it right in the slot, around the off stump. Hermann keeps a still head and clears the front leg before pumping it back over the bowler's head for half a dozen.

Wide! Down leg, very full. Jordan fails to help it away with fine leg up inside the crease. He lets out a grunt on missing out.

FOUR! The keeper was interested for a moment there. Angled in on a length, on middle and leg by Ruben. It is the slower one, so Hermann does not have the pace to work with on the scoop. The ball balloons behind to the right of Zane Green but clears him and the short fine leg fielder stands no chance.

Ruben switches to over the wicket and serves the slower one, fuller in length, around off. Jordan stays leg side and has a tentative prod at the ball to be beaten on the outside edge.

Wide. Sticks to the short ball ploy but this is down leg and seemed too high as well. Jordan is happy to let it go. Given as the second bouncer of the over.

Banged in short, around the left shoulder. Tony rolls his wrists over the ball and pulls it to deep mid-wicket for one more run.

Wide! Down leg, on a short of a good length, that is left alone for the keeper to collect.

This does not rise much and seemed like the slower bouncer, around the ribs. Jordan mistimes the pull, down to deep fine leg for a single.

Wide! Another short ball but this is too high. Jordan shapes up for the pull but then bails out and watches the ball sail over his head.

So nearly dragged it back onto the stumps. Trumpelmann digs it in short, on off. Hermann backs away and tries to smash it down the ground. He is airborne while playing the shot. The ball catches the underedge and drops behind the stumps.

On off, on a nagging length, that is punched off the back foot but straight to the cover fielder.

Erasmus gets low and delivers it with a round-arm action, on a length. Jordan knocks it to long off and rotates the strike.

Flatter and shorter, on middle. Jordan gives the bowler a premeditated charge but then adjusts by patting it down the pitch.

FOUR! That has rocketed to the fence. With that, the 200 comes up for South Africa. Floated up by Erasmus, a bit too full and right in the hitting arc for the left-hander. Hermann sinks to a knee and nails the slog sweep towards cow corner.

Fired in on a good length at the sticks. Jordan taps it back to the bowler.

A loosener first up by Erasmus, short and near the tramline on off. Tony reaches out and spanks it to the right of deep point. They think about the second but eventually settle with a single.

Spears in a yorker at the sticks. Hermann gets his bat down and digs it out. 13 from the over!

At the batter, dug in short. Tony helps the pull behind square leg for another single.

Nicely adjusted! Hermann shows his cards early as he backs away and Ruben responds by following him with a short ball. Jordan does well to create enough room for himself and flays it away aerially but wide of the man at backward point. By the time the fielder's throw reaches the keeper, the batters come back for the third run.

Into the wicket again, on middle. Tony pulls it square on the leg side and gets to the other end.

FOUR! Hammered away. After being hit for a boundary on a fuller ball, Ruben bangs it in short and Tony is waiting for it on the back foot. He gets his hands high and dispatches the pull past mid-wicket for four more.

FOUR! Welcome back, Ruben, says Tony. Across off from around the wicket, not all that full. Tony backs away a bit and opens up the front hip. Launches it back over the bowler's head for a boundary.

Around the pads, on the fuller side. Tony turns it away through square leg for one more run.

HUNDRED FOR HERMANN! It has been a year to remember for Jordan. He made his T20I debut earlier in the year, and today, on his ODI debut, he has scored his maiden international hundred. Fractionally short, on middle. Hermann uses the depth of the crease and nudges it through mid-wicket to pick up a single and reach his landmark. He takes the helmet off and acknowledges the applause from his teammates. Jordan becomes the 5th South African batter to score a hundred on ODI debut. Colin Ingram, Temba Bavuma, Reeza Hendricks, and Matthew Breetzke are the others on that list.

FOUR! Gets it through and with that, Jordan Hermann moves to 99. Floated up, on off. Hermann leans across and plays a punchy drive towards cover. The fielder is late to react to his left and the ball is past him by the time he gets low and it races away.

Tossed up, on off. Tony sweeps it square on the leg side and crosses over.

This is dropped short, on middle. Jordan wrists it in front of deep mid-wicket. They take the first run hard and think about the second but the fielder attacks the ball and keeps it down to one.

Pushed through, short and on middle. Tony nurdles it in front of square on the leg side for one.

FOUR! Poor delivery and Jordan Hermann pounces. Short and sliding down the leg side, he barely needs to move, simply swivelling in the crease and helping the pull fine towards deep square leg. He gets enough on it to beat the fielder and find the fence. A gift, and Hermann is making Namibia pay.

Shortish and drifting onto the leg, Jordan Hermann swivels and helps it fine towards deep square leg. The fielder races across and does well to get around the ball, pulling it back before it can reach the boundary. They come back for two, and Hermann moves into the 90s. The hundred is now firmly in sight.

Gets on the front foot and pushes a full ball to mid off.

FOUR! Finds the gap! Jordan Hermann makes sure he doesn't repeat Tony de Zorzi's mistake. Short and around leg, he swivels quickly and rolls his wrists over the pull, sending it wide of deep square leg. The fielder gives chase to his left, but the ball has enough pace to beat him and race into the fence.

Digs it in short and around leg, Tony de Zorzi swivels sharply on the back foot and connects cleanly with the pull. He finds the middle of the bat, but unfortunately picks out the fielder stationed at deep square leg. Just a single.

Back of a length on middle, Jordan Hermann stays deep in his crease and waits for it to come to him. He uses soft hands to nudge it into the gap at mid-wicket, picking up a comfortable single.

Keeps it around off, flatter through the air, Jordan Hermann clips it through mid-wicket and keeps strike with himself.

Quicker and on middle, Tony de Zorzi goes back and forces it down to long on for one.

Shortish and outside off, punched towards the cover region where the fielder made a diving stop.

Loopy and full, Jordan Hermann leans across, fetches it from outside off and wrists it in front of square on the leg side. Gets a single.

Flatter and a touch shorter, on off, Tony goes back and punches it towards long on for a single.

Floated ball, full and down the leg side, Jordan Hermann works it through backward square leg for a run.

Once again, this delivery has been pushed back past the left side of the bowler. Towards mid on and a run is taken.

A low full toss on middle, it's driven back past the bowler for a run at mid on.

Short in length and on off, it's powered over mid-wicket for a couple of runs.

No run, the batter has just blocked that from the crease.

On the pads, a length ball, it's eased to the left of mid-wicket for a run.

FOUR! Another boundary in the over and South Africa are starting to find the gaps with ease. Short and wide outside off, Jordan Hermann rocks back and slaps it through deep cover. No chance for the fielder. 150 comes up!

FOUR! Bang! Shorter and flatter on off, Jordan Hermann gets back in his crease and hammers it over the bowler's head, sending it racing away to long off. A clean strike and four more.

FIFTY FOR TONY! Flighted and full, around off. Tony de Zorzi leans across and helps it past mid-wicket for a run. Brings up his 3rd ODI fifty and has played his part in this fabulous partnership.

Fuller and on off, worked through mid-wicket for a couple.

EDGY! Flatter and on off, Jordan Hermann looks to work it towards the leg side but gets a leading edge. It loops safely over mid on and rolls away towards long on. They pick up a single.

Pitches it up and around off, Tony de Zorzi leans across and flicks but finds the fielder at mid-wicket. 4 from the over but Namibia need a wicket or two at this stage. Things looking quite comfortable for the Proteas.

Back of a length, on off, Jordan Hermann gets back and wrists it easily through square leg for one.

Uses the angle of the bowler and this time works it past the mid-wicket fielder, gets a single.

Angles in a length ball on off, Tony helps it towards mid-wicket, not in the gap this time.

Fuller again, around off, Tony de Zorzi picks it up and heaves it over square leg. It's to the right of the fielder in the deep and they get the chance to turn for the second run.

Begins a new spell with a full ball around off, Tony is nicely on the front foot as he defends it back to the bowler.

Flighted up, on off. Jordan eases it to cover.

Stumping chance missed! First, the run out appeal and now another reprieve for Jordan Hermann. Offers flight, does Scholtz, on off. Hermann dances down the track and swings through the line, looking to go back over the bowler's head. He is beaten on the inside edge but luckily for him, Zane Green cannot gather the ball cleanly and fumbles a bit. By the time he can get the ball in his gloves and break the stumps, Hermann makes it back in.

Not all that short, on off. Tony is hurried on the back foot and punches it to cover.

Full and attacking the front pad. Tony wrists it to mid-wicket.

Tossed up slightly, slower through the air, on off. Hermann reaches out in front for the reverse sweep but the ball kicks up a bit to catch the glove and evades the keeper. On any other day, that would have lobbed kindly for the keeper. A single is taken as the ball goes wide of short third.

Darted in on a good length, on middle. Jordan taps it down to the left of the bowler from the crease. The straightish mid-wicket fielder moves swiftly to his right and dives to prevent the single.

Half a shout for caught behind, but turned down. Jack bends his back and bashes the deck hard, on off. Tony hops and stays beside the line of the ball. He tries to run it down to deep third but misses.

Bangs it into the deck, tucking the batter up for room. Jordan pivots and pulls it behind square leg for a single.

FOUR! Straight as an arrow! The 100-run stand comes up between these two batters. Jack tries to push the length up but ends up dishing out a juicy low full toss, on off. Hermann does not need a second invitation as he drills it all along the ground back past the bowler's right. It is past Jack before he can stick out the right boot.

Shouts of 'catch'! Dug in short by Brassell, on middle. Hermann hops and is airborne while playing the shot. He gets his hands high and manages to clear the leaping mid-wicket fielder with the pull and picks up a brace.

Short enough for the cut but Hermann does not get the desired width to free his arms. He ends up chopping it down in front of point.

Hits the back of a length, on off. Jordan stands tall to stab it down on the off side.

Looped up, on middle. Jordan has an ungainly hack across the line. Miscues it off the inner half towards wide long on for a run. Back-to-back 9-run overs.

Offers flight, on off. Jordan springs onto the front foot and cracks the drive past cover. The deep point fielder gets around and mops it up. Two taken.

Nearly sneaked through. Speared in by Gerhard, full and at the sticks from around the wicket. Tony gets down on one knee for the sweep but it catches the underedge and dribbles wide of short fine leg. They cross.

A bit short, on off. Jordan cuts it to deep cover and turns the strike over.

MISFIELD, FOUR! That should have been stopped. Dropped short by Erasmus, on off. Hermann hops back in the crease, trying to force it through the off side. It squirts behind off an outside edge, where it spins away from Jack Brassell at short third and he is late to get low to his right. Ends up conceding a boundary, does Jack and the skipper is not happy one bit.

Tossed up, on off. Jordan eases it to cover.

Beaten! Angled away, on a back of a length. Tony pushes away from his body and is beaten past the outside edge.

FOUR! Gets it through! Good-length delivery, across off. Tony leans on and plays the drive on the up. He checks his shot as he plays it down the ground. The mid-off fielder is late to dive to his left and the ball races away for a boundary.

FIFTY FOR HERMANN! Maiden ODI half-century on debut for Jordan. He has had a slice of luck along the way, when he was run out on 30, but the umpire ruled in his favour. He will be keen to make the most of that chance. Short and a bit of width on offer. Jordan cuts it to deep point for a single to reach his milestone.

Was there an edge? Drags the length back now, does Jack, on off. Hermann swivels for the pull but it sneaks under the blade. Zane Green fumbles to gather the ball but there was no reaction on the drop by the bowler, so there may not have been an edge.

Going away, on a good length. Hermann firms the drive on the up but picks out the man at a catching cover.

FOUR! Welcomed with a boundary! Bowled on a length, across off from over the wicket. Hermann just stays put and swings through the line as he forces it to the right of the man at mid on for a four. Moves to 49, does Jordan on ODI debut.

Drags the length back and this is angled in at the hips. Tony nurdles it off the back foot to square leg.

Wide! Flighted up but down leg. Tony misses out on the glance.

Flat and not all that short, on off. Tony goes for the cut but chops it down to backward point.

Floated up, on off, Tony pushes it down the deck. Gerhard Erasmus makes the stop to his right.

Oh, that could have gone anywhere. Shorter and speared into the left-hander. Tony shapes up to clip it away on the leg side but closes the bat face early. The ball pops up off a leading edge but lands well in front of the bowler.

Short and wide on off, there to be put away. Tony spanks it off the back foot to deep cover, where Alexander Volschenk lets it through and concedes the second run.

Darted in from around the wicket, fractionally short, on middle and leg. De Zorzi hops onto the back foot and whips it away to the right of deep square leg for a couple of runs.

A dot to end the over, and South Africa are 100/1 after 20 overs. Much better length from Heingo, pitching it up around off. Hermann leans on and strokes it away to covers.

SIX! A lovely pick-up shot from Jordan Hermann. Not all that short, on middle and leg, Hermann swivels inside the line and whips it over long leg, and that's gone over the roof. New ball, please! 100 UP FOR SOUTH AFRICA!

WIDE! Heingo tries to follow with a quick short ball, but spills it down leg and it was pretty high too.

Dug in short again, Tony de Zorzi gets hold of the pull shot, smashing it flat and to the left of deep square leg, but for just a single.

Hermann backs away early again and Heingo bowls it shorter too. This is slapped away down to cover for a single.

Slower bumper now, around leg stump. Hermann tries to back away and hit it like a tennis shot, but misses.

The quick singles keep on coming, good running. Attacking the ribs with a shortish ball, de Zorzi tucks it to the left of square leg and gets across to the other end.

Pitched fuller and outside off, Hermann steps out and smashes it straight to cover.

Looking for two, but it will only be a single. Hard length, straighter in line, tucked away to the left of the mid-wicket fielder for a run.

FOUR! More timing than power. Good length on middle, angling in, Tony de Zorzi just hits through the line, lofting it back over the bowler's head for a boundary.

Oh, another direct hit, but again, the batter is safe. Short of a good length, angled into the batter. Jordan Hermann tentatively nurdles it down to wide mid on and sets off for the single. Jack Brassell picks it up and fires in a throw at the bowler's end, clipping one of the bails. However, Hermann dives in and makes his ground safely.

On a good length, just outside off. This is punched off the back foot and through the gap at covers for a couple of runs.

Length again, a bit fuller and wide outside off. Hermann leaves it alone in hopes of a wide but it isn't given.

Good length in the channel, punched away to cover.

Length ball, slanting into the pads. Hermann misses the flick and the ball brushes the pads before rolling down to fine leg for a couple of leg byes.

Back of a length again, in and around off, de Zorzi stays back and tentatively keeps it out.

Hard length over middle, looking to angle it away. De Zorzi moves across and rides the bounce well, nudging it down towards mid-wicket.

Short of a length, angling into the bodyline. De Zorzi hops up and manages to defend it down on the off side.

Very full and at the stumps, Hermann looks to drive it straight, but the bat handle turns in his hands, and he heaves it across through mid-wicket. The fielder from inside the ring gives chase and Hermann picks up three runs.

Good length at the stumps, Hermann stands well outside the crease to negate the extra bounce and movement, blocking it down to mid on.

Full and around off, flicked across to mid-wicket.

Oh, deary me! No third-umpire replays available, and Jordan Hermann gets a life here. Max Heingo lands it fuller around off and Hermann forces it out towards extra cover. The batters set off for the single and the fielder over there moves around to his left, firing in a direct hit at the bowler's end. The on-field umpire has a tough decision to make and rules it in the batter's favour, but replays later show that Hermann was actually a few inches short of his crease. NOT OUT!

FOUR! Up and over! Overpitched delivery outside off, Hermann goes after it and gets it well over mid off for a boundary.

WIDE! A bit of extra effort, but it's ill-directed by Heingo. Length ball, trying to attack the pads, but this is slanted well down the leg side.

Much better from Heingo. He jams in a yorker now, at the toes, Hermann digs it out to wide mid on.

Heingo comes around the wicket now, pitching it fuller around the off stump line. Hermann looks to crack a cover drive but mistimes it to the cover fielder.

Slower ball, short around leg. Tony de Zorzi lines it up but miscues the pull aerially over square leg, picking up just a single.

No ball. Good length, slipped down the leg side again. Tony misses the tuck, and a No Ball has been called for overstepping. Free Hit to follow...

WIDE! Fuller delivery, angled well down the leg side by Heingo.

Just back of a length, over middle, Hermann manages to ride the bounce and keeps it out on the off side.

A bit of an appeal for a catch, but that's come off the pads. Bashed in on a shortish length on leg. Hermann looks to pull but gets hurried and the ball thuds into the thigh pad, lobbing up towards leg slip. The keeper moves after it and pouches it safely.

Very full on off, Hermann jams the drive into the turf and the ball goes to mid off. Hermann isn't happy with himself here, letting out a frustrated grunt.

A bit fuller now, straighter too. Hermann looks to drive but is slightly undone by the extra bounce, jabbing it to mid on.

Back of a length, hammered in around leg. Tony de Zorzi is a bit taken aback and jams it off the hips towards mid-wicket, picking up a single as well. This is given as leg byes.

Length ball on the pads, rushing the batter off the deck. Hermann flicks it down to fine leg for one.

FOUR! Swung away by de Zorzi. Marginally short on middle, Tony leans on it a bit and swats it away through the leg side and well in front of mid-wicket for a boundary to end the over.

Tap and run! Good length, on middle and leg, just a clip using the wrists and Hermann gets it to the left of mid-wicket for a quick run.

WIDE! Length ball, trying to attack the pads, but this one shapes down the leg side.

Back of a length again, a bit of movement into the left-hander. Tony looks to work it off the back foot but plays all around it and wears it on the body.

Slightly back of a length, a heavy ball from Heingo, and over middle. Tony de Zorzi stays back and blocks it to the off side.

Back of a length, worked away off the back foot towards deep mid-wicket for a single.

Brilliant footwork from Jack Brassell and Tony de Zorzi just about escapes. Hard length on middle, Hermann defends it off the inside edge, and the ball hits his body before dropping down past leg stump. The batters set off for the single as Brassell boots it onto the stumps. De Zorzi is just in, though.

That's excellent running. Hard length on leg, zips through off the deck. De Zorzi hangs back and fends it away to the leg side, scampering through for the single.

A bit fuller and in the channel outside off, eased away to extra cover.

Good length, hitting the deck hard around off. De Zorzi jams it to mid on.

EDGED AND FOUR! Should have been taken! Full of a good length, angled across off. Tony de Zorzi goes for the cover drive but gets a big outside edge between the keeper and first slip. Neither of them goes for it and the ball goes through for a boundary. Brassell is troubling de Zorzi early on here.

Good running, and 50 UP FOR SOUTH AFRICA as well. Sliding into the pads, Hermann presses back and works it away behind square leg for a couple of runs.

Flighted delivery on off, just eased on the up and down to long on for one. De Zorzi rotates strike immediately after the boundary.

SIX! That's a fine shot! Fuller one, drifted into the pads. Tony de Zorzi lunges and brings out the slog sweep, nailing it over deep mid-wicket for a biggie.

Tossed up, very full and on off, Jordan Hermann gets forward and drills it down to long off for a single.

A tad shorter this time, on off. De Zorzi rocks back and cuts it past point for a single.

Starts with a flatter one, darting it in towards the stumps. Tony de Zorzi gets cramped for room and hops back to jam it out.

A bit of ball watching from the batters, but they do manage to pinch a single. Back of a length, tight around off. De Zorzi hops up and defends it in front of point for a quick single.

Pitching outside leg! Good length around leg, Tony de Zorzi looks to step out and put the bowler off his length, but misses it completely and wears it on the pads.

Full again, around off, Tony de Zorzi hangs back before leaning forward and smothers it to cover.

Pitched fuller this time, on off and middle, de Zorzi blocks it off.

That is a beauty! A huge appeal for caught behind as well, but the umpire turns it down. Good-length delivery on off, shapes back in late and carries through nicely. Tony de Zorzi is beaten on the inside edge and the ball might have just brushed the pad on its way to the keeper.

Hits the deck hard, does Jack, bowling it on the hips. Hermann flicks it down to fine leg for a single.

Fuller now, on off. De Zorzi pushes it to mid off by getting forward. At the end of the first Powerplay, South Africa are 38/1.

Stays around the off stump, on a good length. Tony blocks it out watchfully.

On the off pole, on a length, defended solidly by Tony.

Angled in at the hips, on a short of a good length. Tony misses out on the glance. A perplexed look on the face of de Zorzi for wide not being called.

FOUR! Edged away. Smith pitches the ball up there and gets the ball to move away. Tony de Zorzi presses forward, looking to force the drive down the ground with the full face of the bat. The ball moves away late to catch the outside edge. It goes well wide of the slip fielder. The deep third fielder dives to his right but in vain.

Bowled by going slightly wide on the crease, on a good length, around off. Hermann does well not to push at the ball with hard hands. It goes down to deep third off an outside edge and the batters cross over.

In and around the off stump, on a length. Tony pushes out in front but the bat turns in his hand and he mishits off the inner half to the left of the bowler.

Good running! On a back of a length, on off. Jordan lets the ball come on and stands tall on top of the bounce, punching it through covers. The ball does not have enough legs to reach the fence and it is hauled in. The batters hustle back for the third run on the throw.

Hits the good length, around off. Jordan tries to play it on the up, but the ball jumps on the batter and catches the splice of the blade. The bottom hand comes off the bat handle as Hermann mistimes it to cover.

Closer to the off stump and fuller as well. Hermann shoulders arms.

Missed out. Short and wide on off, there to be put away. Tony throws his hands at the ball but toe-ends it down to deep third. They cross.

Honing in on the off stump, on a good length. It straightens a bit off the deck. Tony covers the line and defends.

Oh, that would have hurt. Slanting in on middle, on a back of a length. Jordan sets up for the pull on the back foot but the ball does not rise that much and sneaks under the blade to hit the batter on the midriff.

Good fielding! Not all that short but Tony gets the width to free his arms. De Zorzi plays the square drive and connects well but Malan Kruger at backward point puts in a dive to his left. He gets a good hand on it, parrying it away towards the cover fielder. Just a single.

Outside off, inviting the drive, on a length. Tony offers no shot.

Pitched up, on off. Tony leans on and pushes it towards cover but can't get it through as Jan Frylinck slides sto his left to make the stop.

Seaming back in, on a back of a length, on middle. Hermann adjusts to the sharp seam movement and nudges it wide of mid-wicket before hurrying to the other end.

Angled into the left-hander on a good length. Jordan works it to mid-wicket.

In the channel, on a short of a length. Tony de Zorzi lets it go.

Attacking the front pad with a good-length ball. Tony wrists it to mid-wicket.

OUT! CAUGHT! The change of angle works straight away for Ruben Trumpelmann. The tall left-arm seamer has been all over the place with his lines and lengths, but this wicket will help him feel a lot better. Switches to around the wicket and serves a bumper at the bodyline of the batter. Esterhuizen looks to get inside the line and play the hook by making use of the angle. It goes only as far as deep fine leg, where Jack Brassell does the rest. End of a 27-run opening stand.

FOUR! Not in control and Jordan Hermann gets away with it. A well-directed short ball, angled in at the left shoulder. Hermann pivots on the back foot for the pull but the ball climbs onto him as he shapes up for the pull. It catches the top edge and goes behind, well wide of the man at deep fine leg to his left.

This is on the shorter side, angled in on off. Jordan gets on his toes and tucks it beside the strip on the leg side.

Going away in the air slightly, on a good length, on off. Hermann stays beside the line of the ball and plays it to cover-point.

FOUR! First boundary in ODIs for Hermann. A bit too full by Trumpelmann, on off, not much movement through the air. Jordan presents the full face of the bat and just plays a checked drive back past the bowler. It races past the man at mid off, who is a bit wide. Max Heingo gets to the ball first from mid on before the mid off fielder. He even gets a hand on the ball but it is not enough to prevent the boundary.

Closer to the off pole now and the length is dragged back. Jordan punches it to cover-point without much timing.

Stays full, and the line continues to be a bit wide. Hermann gets closer to the line of the ball with a shuffle and firms the drive to mid off.

A swing and a miss. Trumpelmann pitches it up and gets the ball to shape away. Hermann's eyes light up on seeing the width and he throws his hands at the ball but is beaten by the late swing.

Moving away in the air, on a nagging length, closer to the tramline. Jordan is happy to let it go. Zane Green gathers it in front of his face.

Bowled on a full length, on middle and leg. Esterhuizen brings his bat out in front of the front pad and keeps it out.

This leaves the right-hander, on a good length. Esterhuizen leaves it all alone.

Pushes the length up and gets the ball to shape back in, just outside the off stump, that is left alone for the keeper to collect.

Into the wicket but a little too straight, around leg. Hermann swivels and pulls it behind square leg for a single to open his account in ODIs.

Angled away, on the fuller side. Esterhuizen extends his hands for the drive but mishits it down the deck.

Drifts down leg yet again, does Rubin. Connor makes the leave and it carries nicely to Zane Green at head height.

FOUR! So nearly strangled down leg. Fuller in length but it starts too straight and swings further down leg. Esterhuizen helps it away with the swing. The keeper, Zane Green flings himself to his left but can only get his fingertips to it as the ball flies away.

Drags the length back now and it is pushed across off. Esterhuizen stands tall on top of the bounce and stabs it down.

Esterhuizen is off the mark in ODI cricket. Trumpelmann is yet to find his radar. This swings down leg, on the fuller side. Connor helps it to the right of deep fine leg for a couple of runs.

South Africa are underway with this extra. Too straight again at the hips, Hermann misses out on the tickle. A leg bye is taken as the ball goes off the thigh pad down to deep fine leg.
