Dunith Wellalage hustles from around the stumps and dishes out a flighted conventional off-break around the middle and off stump line. Kuldeep Yadav sits down on his knee to sweep it away but completely misses and plays over the line of the ball, wearing it on the front pad and right in front of the pegs. Joel Wilson raises up his finger and the crowd erupts in delight and pride as Sri Lanka beat India by a huge margin of 110 runs. The hosts seal the series by 2-0. And in all fairness to say, the Lankan spinners have outnumbered the Indian batters in this ODI series. Dunith Wellalage finish off with a spectacular 5-fer.

OUT! CAUGHT! Jeffrey Vandersay hangs onto the catch on the second attempt and Sri Lanka have the wicket they wanted. Maheesh Theekshana flights the ball up on a dragged length around off stump and draws Washington Sundar forward. Sundar leans on and looks to loft it away but has to reach for it and ends up skiing it over mid off. Vandersay comes in from the long off fence and moves to his right before fumbling the ball but he manages to regain composure and snatches it on the second attempt. Sundar departs after a fighting knock and Sri Lanka are one wicket away from victory.

A confident appeal from Kusal Mendis for a caught behind but the umpire says no. Maheesh Theekshana drags this one down and bowls it wide of the off stump, turning it away. Washington Sundar backs away to cut but misses and Mendis does well to move to his left and pouch the ball. No review taken and the replays show that the ball went well under the bat.

Beaten all ends up! Flighted again and on a length around middle, this one dips and turns away with additional bounce. Washington Sundar has a big swipe across the line but is well beaten.

Flighted up on a fuller length, angled into middle and leg and just turning away, Sundar plays it late and with soft hands, edging it away wide of the keeper.

Full again and drifted on the pads now, Kuldeep Yadav works it around the corner and rotates the strike.

SIX! Washington Sundar is playing a bit of a blinder here and Sri Lanka haven't sealed things just yet. Just too full from Maheesh Theekshana, bowled from around the stumps and on off, Sundar gets under the ball and whacks it well over long off for a biggie.

A lovely delivery to end a maiden over for Charith Asalanka. Flighted up on a nagging length around off, drifting in and then turning away. Kuldeep Yadav looks to block it away but plays well inside the line of the ball.

Slides one into the pads, Kuldeep Yadav looks to flick off the back foot but the ball catches the outside of the pad and rolls past the keeper.

A half-hearted appeal but it is turned down. They go upstairs but UltraEdge confirms the inside edge.

FOUR! Terrific shot again from Washington Sundar and 18 runs off the over with one ball to go. Tossed up again on the stumps, Sundar has enough time to go for the reverse sweep and nail it towards deep fine leg. Janith Liyanage runs to his right and puts the dive in but can't stop the boundary.

SIX! Probably the shot of this run chase and Washington Sundar mustering up some vital runs here. Bowled from around the stumps, pretty full and on off, Sundar leans on, gets under the ball and just lifts it effortlessly over long off for another biggie.

Flighted up around off, seemed like the googly, Sundar leans on and lofts it over the cover region for a couple of runs.

Shivam Dube walks down a couple of steps and sits down to sweep it hard over the leg side but plays over the line of the ball and does not connect the shot at all. Gets rapped on the thigh pad of his back leg. Dube wants a review but India have burnt both of them and walks back in absolute distraught. India lose their 8th wicket. Sri Lanka just a couple of wickets away from a historic series win.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! It's getting from bad to worse now for India! 7th wicket down on a paltry 100. A googly now, around off, fuller in length. Riyan Parag takes out a big stride and expects the ball to turn away and looks to leave it alone but the ball stays straight after pitching and skids quickly as well. Riyan Parag is left two-minded whether to hit or leave it and the ball, within a fraction of a second dismantles the furniture. Total misjudgment from Parag and he too falls after a confident start.

IN THE AIR...lands safe! Jeffrey Vandersay tosses it up and outside off on a fuller length, Shivam Dube sits down to slog it over the leg side but outside edges it up in the air towards the backward point region. It lands safe and they do take one.

Beauty! Flat and outside off, this one straightens and skids on quickly off the deck. Riyan Parag is taken aback as he gets beaten on the inside edge looking to cut it away.

Full and on middle and leg, Riyan Parag sweeps it towards deep fine. Maheesh Theekshana from deep backward square leg intercepts the ball running to his right and restricts it to a double.

Good-length delivery drifting on leg, Riyan Parag watches it closely and pats it to the leg side just near the strip.

FOUR! Punched away! Not that short but outside off, Shivam Dube reads the googly well off the bowler's hand and uses those long levers to slash it over cover for a boundary towards the vacant deep covers.

A regular leggie on the off stump line, Riyan Parag drives it to the off side for a single.

FOUR! Cut away into the gap! Jeffrey Vandersay starts off with a slip in place. Lands it full and outside off, Riyan Parag goes deep inside the crease and uses the width to perfection and cuts it into the gap between short third and point for a boundary.

Beats the outside edge. Dunith Wellalage has weaved a web around the Indian batters! Drifts it outside off on a good length. Shivam Dube plants his front foot and expects the ball to turn into him but it straightens off the deck and he plays inside the line of the ball.

OUT! LBW! Another huge appeal and the finger goes up again! Shreyas Iyer with that grim look on his face goes upstairs! This is pitched on the leg stump line, shade fuller in length and straightens after pitching. Shreyas Iyer goes back and across but opens his body to tuck it to the leg side and gets pinged on the front pad. Nothing on UltraEdge and Ball Tracking confirms three reds. The on-field decision stays and India burn a review here, but worse, India lose their 6th wicket. Dunith Wellalage has completely run through the Indian middle order. He gets his fourth wicket and Sri Lanka are sniffing a historic series win already with the Premadasa echoing to its fullest.

FOUR! In the gap! Full and on the middle, Shreyas Iyer reverse sweeps it past the diving backward point for a boundary.

On a dragged length around off, coming on with the arm, Riyan Parag punches it down to long off for a single.

FOUR! Off the mark with a boundary. Full and dropped on leg, Parag bends low crouching on it and paddles it behind deep fine for a boundary beating the fielder who runs from deep backward square to intercept it.

OUT! OUTCLASSED! OUTFOXED! This is a sensational bowling display from Dunith Wellalage. He stays around the stumps and lands it on a flatter trajectory with a quicker pace on a length and on the middle stump line. It turns degrees into the batter and Axar Patel is totally squared up for room. He finds himself in a weird position to negotiate with the excessive turn and bounce and the ball crashes into the stumps. Sri Lankans are all pumped up and why not! Half of the Indian side is back into the sheds in the 13th over itself.

OUT! LBW! An appeal for LBW and up goes the finger! Virat Kohli sends it upstairs for a review! Dunith Wellalage stays around the stumps and lands it in the channel of the middle and leg with an in-drift on a fullish length. It comes off quickly from the deck. Virat Kohli strides out for a front foot defence as he anticipates the ball to turn but it straightens up and he plays it over the line of the ball and gets rapped on the front pad. UltraEdge shows there's nothing on it. Ball Tracking confirms it is pitching inside the line of the stumps and is hitting the stumps. A massive, massive scalp for Sri Lanka as Virat Kohli departs on 20. The top four of India have blown away in a quick succession.

Great fielding effort in the deep by Avishka Fernando! Save a certain four for his side! Short and outside off, Kohli slaps it through backward point. Avishka Fernando from deep extra cover covers a lot of ground and manages to intercept the ball with a slide. Two taken.

Wellalage drifts it on the leg stump, Virat Kohli rocks back to work it to the leg side and gets rapped on the front pad.

A dot to end a successful over for Maheesh Theekshana. Bowled and right at the stumps on a nagging length, Iyer manages to work it onto the leg side.

FOUR! That's nicely done by Iyer! A bit too short, not all that wide bu Iyer rocks back and cuts it really late and well behind point for a boundary to get off the mark.

OUT! STUMPED! Maheesh Theekshana comes back into the attack and picks up a wicket, India now 3 down for 63 inside the first Powerplay. Rishabh Pant pre-meditates and walks down the pitch as Theekshana flights it up on a dragged length and gets the ball to turn away. Pant is beaten in the flight and ends up just walking past the ball. Kusal Mendis has all the time in the world to dislodge the bails. Poor from Pant as there was no need to do that.

Sharp work in the field, keeping Virat Kohli on his toes. Short again around the hips, Kohli hops back and tucks it to short fine leg looking for a single but the fielder there is quick to pick up the ball and gets a direct hit in at the batter's end.

FOUR! Smartly played by Virat Kohli. Short of a length over leg stump, sitting up for the batter, Kohli gets on his toes, lets the ball come on and uses the ball on the ball to tuck it wide of short fine leg for a boundary.

Hard length on middle, attacking the stumps again, Kohli stays in his crease and just flicks it away to mid-wicket.

Good length outside off at 133 KPH, Rishabh Pant gets on the front foot and just casually opens the face of the blade to run the ball down to deep third for a single.

Just short of a good length and in the channel, angling it away, Pant stands tall and plays it out with soft hands towards backward point.

On a dragged length on middle and leg, turning into the pads, Rishabh Pant stays back and just deflects it behind square leg.

FOUR! Wow, what a shot to play first up! Pitched up full on off and middle, Rishabh Pant gets on the front foot and flicks it away with stellar timing and through the gap at mid-wicket for a boundary.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! A sharp catch behind the stumps from Kusal Mendis and Dunith Wellalage gets the big wicket. Wellalage tosses the ball up, wide of off stump and not quite full either. The ball grips and turns away big as Rohit Sharma sits down to play that favorable slog sweep. Sharma goes against the turn though and gets a faint bottom edge on it. Kusal just moves to his right and pouches it with both gloves, excellent take given that one turned and bounced extra as well. For the first time this series, Sri Lanka have managed to send back Sharma before his fifty and India in a bit of early bother.

FOUR! A shot in anger out of nowhere from Virat Kohli but it does the trick. Pitched up on the stumps, angling in, Kohli skips down the pitch and heaves across the line, lifting the back leg up and gets it well over mid-wicket. The ball bounces and trcikles into the fence.

EDGED AND FOUR! Good length on off stump, leaving the batter late and Virat Kohli gets a bit squared up but does well to watch it all the way and edges it down with soft hands, well fine of deep third for a boundary.

That in-between length from Asitha Fernando around off and this one holds in the deck as well. Virat Kohli gets halfway forward and is early in the shot as the ball goes off the face of the bat to mid off.

Pitched a bit further up and around off, Virat Kohli brings out that high-elbow drive and punches the ball sweetly to wide mid off.

That stayed down! Good length in the channel around off, Virat Kohli gets stuck on the crease looking to punch it away but the ball angles back in, stays low and beats the inside edge.

Virat Kohli living on the edge here. Pitched up on the stumps, angling in, Kohli gets forward and wrists it away and almost straight into the hands of the man at short mid-wicket who makes a good diving stop.

Dropped a bit shorter and around off, Rohit Sharma covers the line of the ball and solidly blocks it off.

Nagging length, bowled quicker and attacking the stumps, Rohit Sharma hops back to defend.

FOUR! Dunith Wellalage releases all the pressure with a loose delivery. Short and wide, begging to be hit, Rohit Sharma stands tall and slaps the ball past point for a boundary.

Oh, wow! That one gripped and ripped. Flighted one, drifted onto middle and turns away sharply, Sharma is well beaten but the ball takes some additional bounce and hits Sharma high on the pads.

A bit of turn already for Dunith Wellalage. Drifted in on the stumps, Rohit Sharma watches it all the way and blocks it off.

Beaten! Nagging length around off, sliding on and turning just a smidge, Rohit Sharma looks to cut a relatively full ball and is beaten on the outside edge.

Pitched up on the stumps, Virat Kohli presents a solid front-foot defense to it. End of a testing over from Fernando.

FOUR! That one bursts through the hands and Virat Kohli would have had his heart in his mouth for a second. Hard length on middle, squares Kohli up beautifully and the leading edge is found. The fielder at point is just too close in and has no time to react as the ball flies to his left and goes through the hands in a flash. Maheesh Theekshana at deep third covers good ground to his right and dives in to collect the ball but takes a tumble and lets the ball over the ropes. Asitha Fernando on song here!

Perfect line around off and on a good length, angling back in, Virat Kohli covers the line well and defends the ball under his eyes.

OUT! TIMBER! Asitha Fernando sends Shubman Gill packing and Sri Lanka have an early wicket. Fernando bustles in and hits the deck hard at 132 KPH on middle, getting it to just angle back in. Gill tries to break the shackles by coming down the pitch and has a wild swing across the line but the ball keeps a tad low and beats the ball to smash into the stumps. Gill hasn't looked settled throughout this ODI series and departs for another low score.

Just back of a length and around the top of off, Shubman Gill is taken aback by some extra bounce but manages to defend it out.

Pitched up on middle, sliding it in, Shubman Gill gets on the front foot and flicks the ball away in front of square on the leg side for a couple of runs.

FOUR! Luck now favoring Sharma as well and Maheesh Theekshana cannot believe it, 18 off that over. Slows it up a bit and angles it full and into the pads, Sharma sits down for the big sweep but gets an inside edge past leg stump and fine of short fine leg for yet another boundary.

FOUR! In the gap and Rohit Sharma is putting Maheesh Theekshana to the sword. Persists to bowl quick and full outside off, Sharma creams the cover drive, hitting it in between mid off and covers as the ball blitzs to the boundary ropes.

MISFIELD AND FOUR! Full and wide, there to be hit, Rohit Sharma throws his hands at it but doesn't quite time it. However, he gets enough power on it and Dunith Wellalage gets a bad bounce at covers, only managing a bit of hand on it as the ball runs away to the fence.

Lucky to get away with that Shubman Gill. Asitha Fernando hits the deck hard and angles it onto the pads, getting it to straighten a bit as well. Gill with minimal footwork looks to flick and gets a leading edge that goes well wide of cover-point and Gill picks up a couple of runs.

Back of a length and on the fourth stump line, Shubman Gill stays upright and punches the ball away on the bounce to the man at cover-point.

Nicely bowled! Nice and full, wide of the off stump and shaping away late from the right-hander, Gill with a half-hearted dab at it and he gets beaten past the outside edge.

A smidge fuller on middle and honing in on the legs, Rohit Sharma lets the ball come on before nudging it in front of mid-wicket for a quick single.

Dropped shorter on middle and leg, Sharma stays back and works it around the corner for a single.

FOUR! Stand and deliver, sublime timing from Sharma there! Length ball around off, not short and wide by any means, Rohit simply rocks back and pats it sweetly square through covers for a boundary.

Shubman Gill is now off the mark as well. Just drags the length back, swinging it into middle, Gill stays back and tucks it to mid-wicket for a run.

Fired in on a fuller length around off again, Shubman Gill crunches the drive on the up but finds the man at covers again.
