• The BCCI on Tuesday confirmed that all-rounder Krunal Pandya tested positive for Covid-19. The board also confirmed that 8 players who were in close contact with the all-rounder have been isolated. The 2nd T20I had to be postponed by a day and was shifted to July 28.

• Later in the night, news agency PTI reported that Krunal Pandya has been ruled out. Also, all his eight close contacts, who were isolated, have tested "negative" in the RT-PCR tests but as a precautionary measure won't be able to take the field on Wednesday.

• News agency ANI today reported that the remaining two games will go ahead as scheduled.
