Sri Lanka is yet to win a Test match in India, SL has played 21 Tests in which 9 has ended in a draw and lost 12.

• Since 2021, India’s middle-order (#4-#7) batters has scored 3494 runs out of which Pant has scored 28 % of these runs. (988/3494)

• In the last game as well, India was 4 down for 175 runs but stood firm and took on the Sri Lankan bowlers.

• Rishabh Pant with 988 runs is the 2nd highest run-getter in Test since 1st Jan 2021, only Joe Root has more runs than Pant.

It is safe to expect Ravindra Jadeja to wreak havoc again

• Since his comeback from the injury, Jadeja has scored 245 runs in 4 matches (3 T20Is & a Test) vs Sri Lanka, importantly he is yet to be dismissed by any SL bowler.

• He has picked 11 wickets as well which is the most so far in both the series (T20Is & Test) between two sides.

• Further if we look at Jadeja’s record against Sri Lanka across formats in 44 matches he has scored 726 runs at an average of 55.84 & strike rate of 80.57 and picked 62 wickets.

o Australia has 10 wins in 10 Tests all at home.

• Sri Lanka is the only team to win D/N Test in away conditions, Sri Lanka won by 4 wickets vs West Indies at Bridgetown in 2018. (venues in U.A.E are considered neutral venues).

The Final Test of the series will be played at Bengaluru which will be D/N Test.

• So far there have been two Day-Night Tests played in India and in both the bowlers have dominated the contest, the two D/N Tests which were concluded in just 5 days.

Virat Kohli crossed the 8000-run mark in Tests while Rishabh Pant showed why he continues to remain an asset in the whites by smashing a quick-fire 96. Missed the century by a slender margin

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja notched up his highest Test score, an unbeaten 175, in the first innings.

He then bagged 9 wickets, missing a world record by a whisker. One more wicket would have seen him become the first player in the history of the game score more than 150 runs in an innings and bag 10 wickets in the same game

Senior India off-spinner took his 435th Test wicket in Sri Lanka's 2nd innings to go past the great Kapil Dev (434) and take the second position in the list of most wickets for India in the longest format. Currently, Ashwin has 436 scalps.
